DODA POLICE ORGANISED SPORTS TOURNMENT AT GANDOH
Today on 16-10-2017, Kabbadi tournament was inaugurated by Sh Vinay Kumar Kullar ASP Hqrs Doda along with SDPO Gandoh Shri. Sunny Gupta on the direction of SSP Doda Shri. Mohammad Shabir, at Helipad Gandoh under Civic Action Programme-2017-18.

The main objective of organizing such events under CAP was to bridgethe gap between Police and Public and to channelize the energy of youths towards sports and constructive activities. Which were witnessed by the huge gathering from Gandoh and adjoining areas. 10 teams participated in Kabbadi competition and in final Friends Changa Club Gandoh defeated Govt. Hr. Sec. School Kilothran by 11 Points. Both the teams were suitably rewarded with cash prizes and trophoies. Shri. Dalbir Choudhary SDM Gandoh, Shri Nazir Ahmed Khan Z.E.O Gandoh, Shri Zafferullah Sheikh Range Officer Gandoh, Sh. Anayat Hussain SHO P/S Gandoh, other Police, Civil Administration and respectables of Gandoh Town were present on the said tournament.Chief Guest MLA Bhaderwah, Sh. Daleep Parihar, appealed the youth to refrain from drug menace, which has eaten the vitals of the society. He appreciated the role of J&K Police for organizing such activities under CAP. This will also help in bettering the relations between Police and Public. ASP Hqrs Doda Shri. Vinay Kumar exhorted upon the youth community to shun the path of drug menace and put their best efforts in doing good things for the society.
He assured the participants that such type of programmes would also continue in future.
