MLA Doda lays foundation Stone of two link roads

With motive to connect every corner of his constituency Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), Doda Shakti Raj Parihar has today laid foundation stones of two major link roads in his constituency for up-gradation.
The 15 kilometers Khelani-Dhranga road with an estimated cost of 18 crore and 18 kilometers Jungalwad-Sarsi road are of 17 crore would be up-graded to provide smooth road connectivity to thousands of people living in remotest corners of this constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA Doda said the central and state government is committed to provide road connectivity to rural areas, besides ensuring uninterrupted power and regular water supply to the people in every corners of the state.
He said earlier the roads were under state governments Public Works and Roads and Building (PWD,R&B) Department and due to low funding, up-gradation work on these roads were hanging in balance, but now the roads have been taken over by Prime Minister Grameen Sadak Youjna (PMGSY) to resolve this problem.
“The work has been resuming for the up-gradation of roads including black topping and widening so that people gets proper road connectivity at their door steps. Roads are not only provide connectivity to any area but also connect them with development and to open new avenues of development at the grass root level.” he added.
MLA expressed dissatisfaction over the condition of roads in the district. He assured the public that the present Government is determined to translate their commitments into action by providing connectivity to the rural areas and maintaining the condition of already constructed roads. He said that the process of identification of the areas without road connectivity has been started and work on such projects will be started shortly.
MLA, Doda also held number of meetings with party works in different areas and asked them to gear-up for coming challenges.
He also asked party workers to highlight the achievements of governments especially centrally sponsored schemes among common people at grass route level so that people can avail benefits. He also asked party works to come up in huge number for the Prime Minister’s rally in Udhampur on 2nd April to make it grand success.

Thousands of BJP workers from Bhaderwah and Doda proceed for Modi’s rally
Doda , APR 01---- At least four thousand party workers of BJP from Bhaderwah constituency will participate in Prime Minister Narinder Modi rally to be held in Udhampur tomorrow . BJP workers of Bhaderwah , Bhalessa , Charlla and Kelar today seen while proceeding towards Udhampur in buses , cars , vans and other private vehicles . Sources said that MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar from the last many days was making arrangements of buses for workers to Udhampur and was also mobilizing people and workers for massive rally to be held in Udhampur by PM after inauguration of Chenani Nashri tunnel . Sources also informed that MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar is in his Doda constituency from the last three days and is reviewing preparations of workers for participating in Udhampur rally . MLA Doda when contacted he confirmed that 3000 BJP workers of Doda constituency will participate in Modi rally .
