'DODA POLICE ORGANIZED AN EVENT “RUN FOR FUN” RACE UNDER CAP'

Today on 13th of April-2017 on the eve of Baisakhi District Police Doda organized an Athletic competition “RUN FOR FUN” (06 Kms Race) from Dessa Chowk Doda to Old   Bridge   Pull   Doda under Civic Action Programme.  The race was flagged off by Hon’ble MLA Doda Shri Shakti Raj Parihar who was the chief guest on the occasion while Deputy Commissioner, Doda Sh. Bhupinder Kumar, IAS, SSP Doda Shri. Mohammad Shabir, Addl. SP Hqrs Doda Shri. Vinay Kumar, Dy. SP DAR DPL Doda Shri. Nazir Ahmed Ganai, DySP Hqrs Doda Shri. Ifthikar Ahmed, District Youth Service Sports Officer Doda  Shri. Dewan Chand Thakur and other officers of Police and Civil administration were present on the occasion. More than 500 people from various parts of the District Doda participated in the 06 kms race“RUN FOR FUN”. In the race competition Mohammad Rafiq S/o Din Ali R/o Dhadkai Tehsil Gandoh District Doda  secured Ist position and was awarded with cash reward of Rs.5000/- and certificate.

Similarly 2nd position was secured by Ram Raj S/o Doulat Ram R/o Gadi Tehsil Bhagwah District Doda and was awarded with cash reward of Rs. 3000/- and certificate, while 3rd position was secured by Ajay Singh S/o Umeed Singh R/o Bhalote Tehsil and District Doda who was awarded with cash rewarded of Rs.2000/- and a certificate. Sports caps and refreshment were distributed among the participant,  The youths of the Doda town have appreciated the role of J&K Police for organizing such events.

Hon’ble MLA Doda, Shri Shakti Raj Parihar (Chief Guest) while speaking on the occasion, appreciated the role of J&K Police for organizing such activities under CAP. According to him this will help in bettering the relations between Police and Public. Deputy Commissioner Doda Sh. Bhupinder Kumar, IAS and SSP Doda Shri Mohammad Shabir while speaking on the occasion exhorted upon the participants especially the youth to contribute positively to the society in eradication of various social evils. They also dwelt in detail on the importance of being involved in various sports activities and physical exercises for sound mind and fit body. The very purpose of organizing this event is to maintain communal harmony, integration and sense of belongingness among the different sects of the society. SSP Doda, thanked the participants for participating /witnessing such a wonderful sport event.

02 NO’s INFLATABLE BOATS HANDED OVER TO CHENAB RESCUE TEAM OF DISTRICT DODA:

Today on 13.04.2017, Deputy Commissioner, Doda Shri. Bhupinder Kumar, IAS andSSP Doda Shri Mohammad Shabir, and other officers of Police and Civil administration handed over 02 Nos inflatable boats to Chenab rescue team of Pull Doda. These boats were donated by Zakat foundation Delhi (NGO) few months back due to efforts of Deputy Commissioner Doda Shri Bhupinder Kumar, IAS. Since highway runs parallel to river Chenab from Baggar (Ramgarh) to Kishtwar. In the past many fatal accident have taken place on this highway. Chenab rescue team headed by its president Shri Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh has been involved in many rescue operation for last 20 years and saved many lives and retrieved many dead bodies from the river Chenab. They often requested for providing boats and other equipments required for rescue operations from civil administration and District Police.

 District Police Doda had to face severe criticism from Public after every accident where loss of life was involved. Chenab rescue team thanked Deputy Commissioner Doda Shri Bhupinder Kumar, IAS and SSP Doda Shri. Mohammad Shabir for providing rescue equipments and assured that they will work with full zeal and zest for rescue in future.

'MOHALLA MANDAL PRADHAN DISCUSSES VARIOUS DEVELOPMENTAL ISSUES'

💥💥💥Continuing the Spree of development in Mohalla Mandal of DODA BJP’s Mohalla Mandal Pradhan *Sh Rakesh Sharma ji during a late night meeting discussed and projected various developmental Demands and Plans* with doda MLA

Sh Shakti Raj Parihar at Dhak Banglow yesterday. Which were mainly related 

to construction of link *Roads adequate Health Care Facilites(Cancer Relief Aid), Drinking Water, Power supply, Old Age and Widow Pension etc.*

While responding to the demands and plans MLA gave assurance to the Mandal Pradhan that their demands would be met soon. He said that he is 

broadly focusing on the development programs for developing his constituency and 

uplifting the *Living Standards of the people*. He said that he is working hard to 

strengthen the Local self bodies in order to modernize the *Social resources*. He said 

that participation of the people is required to identify development needs and to set 

priorites in integrated manner.

implementation of the programs being run for betterment and welfare of peoples.
