Army Organises Sadhbhavana Medical Camp at Thalela (Doda)

Doda Sept. 19:- A Medical Camp was organised at Thalela on 18 Sep 2017 as part of Sadhbhavana Project. The Camp was conducted by DODA Terriers wherein Military Doctors as well as Doctors from the Civil Health Department of District Doda attended all needy people seeking medical help. Free medicines were also distributed to all patients as prescribed by the doctors.

A large numbers of patients had turned up from Thalela and all other surrounding villages. A total No of 368 patients including 152 Male, 148 Female and 68 Children. The event drew overwhelming response from the public of the complete area and they appreciated the efforts undertaken by Army (under Sadhbhavana) for improving the medical facilities in the district. This step will go a long way in giving a boost to improve health in remote areas of Thelela District, Doda.


The Sarpanch and villagers were grateful to the efforts of INDIAN ARMY for providing medical aid at their door step. The locals while thanking the army assured them for their continuous support to further strengthen the bond between the local populace and army.
