ARMY INAUGRATES DODA KABADDI LEAGUE AT SPORTS STADIUM

Army inaugurated Doda Kabaddi League:

Inter Village Kabaddi Competition at Sports Stadium Doda. Commanding Officer , Army inaugurated the event by cutting the ribbon admist 192 players of 16 participating teams and approx 400 audiance. For the first time in Chenab Valley the synthetic mat is being used for Kabaddi.

Army is providing world class infrastrcture for Kabaddi in this tournament. 16 teams from all corners of distt Doda  in bright coloured jersies added vibrant colour to the stadium.  Tournament will be played for four days with finals on 20 Sep 17.

Participants of age group up to 20 years and Wt up to 65 kg are participating as per Boys category of Amateur Kabaddi  Fedration Of India rules. Event aims at providing right platform to budding talent and promote Kabaddi as sports in Chenab Valley.

Best players from the event will represent Distt  Doda in upcoming State level PIR PANJAL KABADDI LEAGUE scheduled from 1-5 Oct 17. Kabaddi tournament aims at providing best exposure to Kabaddi players of Doda at state and national level.
