Stresses on synergized efforts to meet timelines
In a meeting Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh reviewed the progress of ongoing developmental projects in Jammu Division.
Dr. Nirmal Singh took a detailed review of works under different Centrally Sponsored Schemes and flagship programmes.
The Deputy Chief Minister also reviewed the progress of various other key projects for traffic decongestion, intelligent traffic lights system, multi-tier parking and modernization of general bus stand Jammu.
He directed the concerned to expedite pace of work on respective projects for their completion in stipulated time.
He directed weekly project reviews to be undertaken by the Head of Departments, fortnightly reviews by the Commissioner Secretary and said that he himself would take monthly review of the pace of works.
Later, the Deputy Chief Minister told reporters that major projects apace in Jammu shall ensure better amenities to the people.
