The Army proved a lifesaver for fire -affected victims of Gundoh area of Bhalessa

The Indian Army ( 4 RR) did a wonderful job in rescuing fire -affected victims in Gundoh area of Bhalessa today in which two dozens of shops were gutted in a devastating fire..

Fire broke out in one of the shops according to local people and engulfed the adjoining shops, hotels and the residential houses.

After noticing the flames, people rushed out of their homes and informed the local police.Police party from police station Gundoh and Army (4RR) Jawans rushed to the spot and joined the rescue operation.

Locals said that a cylinder blast also took place inside one of the shops as a result of which massive damages took place. They said that still rescue operation is going on and alleged that when fire incident happened in night and no fire tenders reached the spot .

They said the army responded dutifully and heroically and did a great work and said army as a rescue and relief operation has been legendary in its commitment.
