Indian Army Organised Sports Event in Sport Stadium Doda

Indian Army Embarked a sports Evwnt amongst girls in District Doda.

Doda 11 April 2017:- In order to promote sports amongst girls in Doda district Indian army organised a sports event in Sports Stadium Doda of Doda district today.

The event was inaugurated by Commanding Officer Rashtria Rifles posted at Doda. Girls students from various educational institutions particip[ated in the event. a large number of spectators were also present on the occausion
       Indian Army is aimed at promoting girls by giving them exposure in sports.  Such events positively engage youths and channelise their energies in constructive engagement.  Sporting event is first of its kind also aimed at women empowerment. Sports also foster a spirit of competition, discipline and will to excel prompting youths to strive for excellence by hard work and perseverance
      ​Event also targets identifying budding sportswomen & athletes from rural areas to provide them exposure at Distt & State level.  Sporting event will promote physical fitness and health awareness amongst girls who are foundation stones of a healthy progressive & positive society.
    ​The tournament is being organised to promote athletics as a sport in the remote regions of J&K.  Indian Army, Doda is conducting the event with all essential administrative & logistics support.  The event is drawing overwhelming response from the public of Doda and the locals appreciated the efforts of Indian Army, Doda for promoting sports in the district.

Workshop Concerned about Geo-Tagging Addhar seeding job card verification.

1.*   With efect from 1400 hrs, dept of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, dist Doda org a workshop at Town Hall Doda for their employees chaired by Mr Akhtar Hussarn Qazi, ACD (Addl Commissioner of Development) dist Doda. Mr Bhupinder Kumar, lAS, DC Doda is also present. Workshop is concerned about Geo-Tagging, AADHAR Seeding and Job Card verification. Some MGNREGA employees have also been raised the issues of non-payment of employees due to duplicate job cards. Str agorox 300 employees._

_*2.*   2nd consecutive day of "Tala Band (Hartal)" by ReT (Rehbar-e-Taleem) teachers, observed in dist Doda, therefore, some ReT teachers did not go to school for teaching. Mr lshaq Rashid Malik, Dist President JKRETF (J&K Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum) dist Doda, had been announced the same. There are 3,208 ReT teachers are from dist Doda out of 65,000 teachers throughout the state under SSA (Sarva Shiksha Abhi) without salaries for 6-8 months._
